Since 1967, Glen Industries has long been part of the fabric of the Glen Innes Community, in northern New South Wales,  providing employment, training and supports for people with a disability to live a fulfilled life.  Understanding the needs of individuals, the challenges of living in regional communities and the longing for something more, we at Glen Industries are dedicated and driven to encourage and enable quality of life, inclusion, self esteem and opportunities for people with disabilities within our community. 

As an Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE) we provide paid supported employment, skill development and training opportunities for people with a disability working across our diverse departments:​
  • Embroidery - taking care of all your corporate, sporting and personal embroidery needs.
  • Horticulture - providing lawns and grounds maintenance, gardening, propagation, tree planting, car washing, firewood collection and delivery services.
  • Contract Cleaning - providing daily and weekly cleaning services for offices, businesses and facilities on a contract basis.
  • Recycling - providing collection and processing services for commercial and curbside recycling within the Glen Severn Shire Council;
  • Woodwork - providing custom timber furniture, garden and household products, survey pegs, garden stakes and kindling.
  • The GIG - a social impact initiative garden growing fresh produce for both people in need and for sale within the community.

Since the roll out of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) we have established our value as a service provider of choice, backed by our willingness to extend to meet the support needs of individuals.  
We are a registered provider with the NDIS and provide the following support services:
  • Planning - Coordination of Supports (COS), Plan Management
  • Employment-Supported Employment, School Leaver Employment (SLES), Individualised Employment Supports
  • Accommodation - Tenancy Support, Supported Independent Living, Short Term Accommodation (Respite), Individual Living Options
  • Lifestyle - Social and Community Participation, Recreational Supports, Budgeting, Daily Life Skills
  • Activities - Centre Based, Group Based and Individual Activity Supports
  • Home Supports - Personal Care, Domestic Supports, Yard Maintenance
