Glen Industries is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors. Our constitution provides for up to ten (10) Directors at any one point in time, with 50% of the Directors vacating their position on a two year rotation. Directors are able to re-nominate at the end of each cycle. We currently have nine (9) Directors.
Nominations for the Board of Directors are open at any time whilst ever their is vacancy in our constitutional capacity. Alternatively, the vacating positions are advertised leading into the Annual General Meeting, which is held in September of each year.

With over 30 years on the Board of Directors, many of which acting as Company Secretary, Bill is the longest serving member of the Board. Bill is an active and highly respected member of the Glen Innes Community, volunteering his time in support of many community groups, committees and initiatives. In addition, Bill is a Pharmacist and owns a local pharmacy, affording him great insight and compassion for the diversity within the Glen Innes Community.
John joined the Board of Directors in 2011. He is actively involved with the local community through various other volunteer networks and associations and his wealth of experience on the land provides an insightful and technical perspective in support of the intiatives of Glen Industries.
Paul joined the Board of Directors in October 2010, assuming the role of Treasurer. He brings almost 20 years experience working for a major financial institution, as well as operating his own private retail business and subsequently providing office management and book-keeping services for prominent local businesses.
Having joined the Board of Directors in August 2010, Julie shares insightful knowledge and a wealth of experience from the perspective of a parent of a child with disabilities. A passionate and proactive campaigner for independence and inclusion for people with disabilities to live valued lives as part of their community. With formal qualifications and a strong background in delivering nationally accredited training and teaching, Julie embraces the full scope and objectives of disability employment.
John joined the Glen Industries Board of Directors in 2007, an electrical contractor with his own established business in Glen Innes, John offers practical support and is dedicated to supporting growth and opportunities for people with a disability within the community.
Proprietor of the local Newsagency, Guy joined the Board of Glen Industries in February 2013. With qualifications in accountancy and a business background, Guy is able to offer an analytical perspective in the development of business strategies. He is actively involved within the broader community.
Having originally served on the Board of Directors from 1986 to 1990, Ian rejoined as a Director in February 2013. Owning his own law firm in Glen Innes, Ian shares a wealth of knowledge and expertise in support of governance and compliance and is passionate about the rights and welfare of people with a disability.
Carri joined the Board of Directors in December 2013. With a strong background in case management, employment services and community participation, Carris' expertise are a valuable support for Board and operational strategies.
